Dehleran cement factory with a capacity of 3,300 tons per day is located on a land of 50 hectares, 12 km southwest of Dehleran city in Ilam province. The main equipment of the production line was purchased from 8 leading European manufacturing companies, and the internal manufacturing department was carried out by 6 domestic manufacturers. Preliminary and semi-detailed studies of raw material mines have told about the proximity of mines and the main raw materials of cement production with the place of construction of the factory, which is one of the important advantages in choosing the site. The mine of the factory has been provided to this project based on the mine discovery certificate with a definite and usable reserve of 30 million tons and a probable reserve of 75 tons of limestone alluvium in an area of about 300 hectares.
The very short distance from the place of implementation of the project to the border of Iraq, which after the establishment of the central government there and the need to implement construction projects without having enough infrastructure to supply cement, is a suitable market for the sale of manufactured cement, is one of the important export advantages of this project. and this issue, along with the existence of rich mines very close to the factory and the establishment of the project site between the provinces affected by the imposed war, which are in a state of development and require high consumption, justifies the implementation of this project in the current location.
